Product Showcase Lighting

In this project, I focused on mastering the 3-point lighting technique to create visually compelling product showcases in Unity. This lighting method is widely used in games and marketing visuals to highlight important objects and give them a premium, professional appearance. Laptop Showcase For the first setup, I used a laptop model and applied key, fill, and back lighting to create depth, clean highlights, and subtle shadows. The result was a polished, high-end presentation with a strong premium vibe, similar to commercial product advertisements. Red Apples Showcase In the second setup, I showcased red apples, carefully positioning the lights to enhance reflections, surface shine, and color richness. The lighting made the apples appear fresh, vibrant, and visually appealing. This project demonstrates my understanding of cinematic lighting principles and how to use them effectively to highlight important objects, whether for in-game focus elements or professional product marketing visuals.

Level Lighting & Post-Processing for PC Game

This project was completed for a Fiverr client who was preparing their PC game for release on Steam. My responsibility was to enhance the visual quality of four different levels through professional lighting and post-processing in Unity. Each level required a unique atmosphere and visual identity. I carefully designed the lighting setups to improve depth, realism, and mood while maintaining performance optimization for PC. The work included balanced light placement, shadow refinement, Global Illumination adjustments, reflection probes, and cinematic post-processing effects such as color grading and ambient occlusion. The final result significantly elevated the game’s visual presentation, making the environments more immersive, polished, and ready for a professional Steam launch.

In this project, a client hired me to enhance the visual quality of their horror game through advanced lighting and post-processing in Unity. The original environment lacked depth, tension, and atmosphere. I redesigned the lighting setup using high-contrast shadows, controlled color tones, Global Illumination adjustments, and cinematic post-processing effects such as color grading, bloom, ambient occlusion, and vignette. The final result delivered a darker, more immersive, and visually compelling horror experience, significantly improving the game’s mood and overall impact.

This project showcases the impact of professional lighting in Unity by comparing scenes before and after lighting optimization. The original scenes were dark and lifeless, while the final versions demonstrate realistic illumination, depth, atmosphere, and visual polish using advanced lighting techniques such as Global Illumination, baked lighting, reflection probes, and post-processing effects.
